on my drive home from work i pass three trees filled with about 50 crows each, sitting above the frozen mississippi river. it's not every day, i can't figure out their schedule! the last time, i didn't have my camera with me *of course* so i didn't get a good snap...but your sketches remind me i have to do that one of these days!

that's cool. i'd love to see that. no crows in toronto, just the plastic ones on my window.
i saw them again today! vid and photos on my blog and facebook!
it's totally crazy, i'm wishing i was an ornithologist so i could study them!

thanks Sue!!
I love your illustrations, and it's really interesting to see how they've translated into sculptural form. Beautiful! :)
thanks Emily. i'd hardly call them illustrations, more like doodles. i can't draw to save my life.
